Porcelain
Porcelain is fast becoming a very popular tile. It is well known for been a very hard tile which is also man made. Porcelain come in all different shapes and sizes and it really does give a great quality finish.
Mosaics
Mosaics are an interesting one - they can be used solely to tile whole areas or are an excellent way of breaking tiles up with a distinctive border. They are available in hundreds of styles and colours, from rich vibrant colours to natural looking colours.

Travertine
Travertine is a natural, soft stone it. It is extremely popular in bathrooms and kitchen floors. It is usually sealed to prevent stains from soaking into the tile and ruining the look of them. It is also possible to obtain colour intensifiers that really bring out the colours in naturals stone.

Limestone
Limestone is another natural stone - it is tougher than travertine and more colourful. Limestone also has to be treated the same as you would natural stone to stop the tiles from marking. Limestone is not recommended for high traffic areas, due to the porous nature of the stone. It is, however, recommended to treat limestone once every 6-12 months to maintain the look.
